Taste of Lovejoy Wharf
It was an exciting night at the “Taste of Lovejoy Wharf” event, where we offered an exclusive preview of Lovejoy Wharf’s highly-anticipated new waterfront restaurant, Alcove! Brokers, residents and guests enjoyed light bites and signature cocktails curated by Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli, local restaurateur and mastermind behind Alcove.
Sipping on Lovejoy spiced mules, guests got an inside look at Boston’s newest waterfront condominium, exploring the impeccably designed model units while taking in breathtaking waterfront and city views. Handmade desserts and cozy hot chocolate cocktails awaited in the Lovejoy Wharf resident lounge, one of the many amenity spaces distinctively designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects.

Lovejoy Spiced Mule:
- Ginger & cranberry puree (See below for instructions)
- 5 oz. Gin
- Shake briefly and strain top with a 2 oz. soda water
- Add crushed ice
- Garnish with a lemon wedge
For puree: In a saucepot add 1 stick of cinnamon, 1 nutmeg broken up, 10 black peppercorns and 5 green cardamom pods, toast lightly. Add 1.5 cups of 2:1 rich simple syrup and three rosemary sprigs. Bring up to just shy of a boil, then turn down heat. Do not reduce syrup, but let the rosemary and spices steep. Once this is done steeping, usually 20 minutes, remove from heat and strain. Then add in 3 cups of fresh cranberries and simmer until cranberries are breaking down. Add zest of orange. Then blend and pass through a chinois.
