Lovejoy Wharf Ribbon Cutting
We are thrilled to share that Lovejoy Wharf is officially open! Last week, Related Beal was joined by Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Secretary of Transportation Stephanie Pollack for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially welcome Lovejoy Wharf to Boston’s waterfront.
“I remember when this was parking lots,” Mayor Walsh said in addressing the transformation of the wharf from a concrete slab to a lively boardwalk and patio. As he spoke, Mayor Walsh looked out over Boston Harbor, the Zakim Bridge and the Bunker Hill Monument – the views that will greet Lovejoy residents from their homes and incredible roof deck.
Aside from its stunning waterfront location at the heart of downtown Boston, Lovejoy Wharf’s unmatched connectivity stands out among other luxury properties.
From Lovejoy Wharf, residents can be at Logan Airport in ten minutes and North Station in two. They can stroll along the harbor for drinks in the North End or Charlestown, or walk up Causeway Street to dinner and shopping on Beacon Hill.
“This location with the Green and Orange Line, commuter rail, future water transportation and great pedestrian amenities is a great spot to spotlight the idea of transit-oriented development,” said Massachusetts Secretary of Transportation Stephanie Pollack.
Inside the building, Robert A.M. Stern has taken traditional, natural materials such as wide-plank oak, bronze and marble to create a unique offering that combines classic luxury with the neighborhood’s discerningly modern setting.
With a suite of state-of-the-art amenities now 100% complete, valet parking available, and several model residences now open for previews, we look forward to welcoming our first residents this fall.
