The Historic Boston Neighborhood to be in Now

    February 26, 2018

Lovejoy Wharf’s neighborhood is the top spot to live for those that want to be in the heart of an increasingly dynamic and vibrant location. To complement the residential and commercial developments that have come online in the past few years, new retail, entertainment and sophisticated dining and cocktail options continue to open at our doorstep along the waterfront and abundant green areas. For one, we cannot wait to welcome our new waterfront restaurant, Alcove, which will offer an al fresco dining option unseen before in this area.

The recent NAIOP panel, The New Shape of Boston’s Historic Neighborhood, drove this point home by offering a firsthand look at the thriving Lovejoy Wharf live-work-play environment. Related Beal President Kim Sherman Stamler joined principals from Boston Properties, the developer behind the 1.87 million square foot Hub on Causeway project, The HYM Investment Group, the leader of the 2.9 million square foot Bulfinch Crossing project, and CBT Architects, to discuss the remarkable growth of the neighborhood.

Recently completed projects like Lovejoy Wharf and Related Beal’s adjacent property, The Beverly and its brand new Courtyard Marriott Hotel, have added energy to this historic neighborhood at the nexus of Beacon Hill and the North End. Furthermore, the mixed-use Hub on Causeway development, currently underway with phase one completion slated for late 2018, will add a 15-screen ArcLight Cinema, a Star Market supermarket and the city’s largest grocery store, new dining and cocktail spots, a bowling alley, and brand new citizenM Hotel.

When asked why the neighborhood is such a desirable new place to live, panelists indicated that its transit-oriented location in the heart of the city is unbeatable, not to mention its walkability to downtown, abundance of greenspace and waterfront access. Furthermore, residents of Lovejoy Wharf can easily venture past the city streets and experience all New England has to offer with a quick train to Maine, ferry to Cape Cod, or skip out of town in their car with convenient access to all major highways, including I-93. Lovejoy Wharf has reserved parking spaces with front-door valet service offering residents a seamless experience, where a simple text has their vehicle delivered right outside the lobby, and ready to be picked up at the front door upon return.

We are proud to be at the helm of this thriving area, at home in the heart of it all. Click here for your opportunity to be a part of Boston’s best new neighborhood. Call us at 617-657-1000 or email us at info@lovejoyboston.com to schedule a tour with our sales agent to see Lovejoy Wharf.
