Building Community in the New Year
The New Year is upon us, a time for reflecting on the past and setting goals for the future. With great people, spectacular amenities, and a backyard full of fun destinations it’s easy to enjoy the Lovejoy Wharf community. Here are some ways to connect to the places and people around you, so you can live your best life in 2020.
Connect with the City
The Hub on Causeway is officially open and ready to be explored! The new development at North Station is home to a 60,000 sf Star Market, Banners Sports Bar with a 40ft television, the 15 screen ArcLight Cinemas, Tequila Cocina, offering 100+ tequila choices, and more! Opening soon is the food hall with 14 unique vendors – a perfect place to spend time with family and friends.
Connect with The Outdoors
Living just steps away from the Greenway and HarborWalk means the possibilities are endless when it comes to spending time outside (even in winter). Join a running club that trains along the HarborWalk for a fun fitness community. Or spend some time exploring the art exhibits and scenery as you stroll along the Greenway. You can even take the ferry to the Seaport to visit the ICA for the day.
Connect with Neighbors
With so many communal areas at Lovejoy Wharf, it’s easy to find a space where you can get to know your neighbors. Start a book club in the library, throw a Superbowl party in the entertainment lounge, work out with friends in the fitness center. No matter your interests, you are sure to find people to share them with.
Connect with the Community
There is no better way to connect with your community then by helping those around you. Near Lovejoy, there are many places to volunteer. Like Christopher’s Haven, a home and support system for kids and their families as they undergo treatment for cancer. Consider serving your community and feel good about giving back.
Here’s to a new year!
